Jute Ropes

Jute is one of the most readily available and also one of the most economical fibers for rope-making. Jute fiber is natural, biodegradable, environment-friendly, versatile and reusable.

Ropes made out of Jute are easy to handle, hold knots securely and are an ideal choice for a wide variety of industrial, home and outdoor applications.

Although the breaking strength of Jute Rope is about 20% less than that of the same size Manila Rope, its limited stretch capacity and resistance to heat makes Jute Rope durable and long lasting. Jute Ropes are however, prone to long term damage from exposure to moisture and must be stored dry, if possible to avoid mildew.

We offer a wide range of Twisted Jute Ropes made from natural Jute Yarn in 3-strand configuration. Sizes range from 4mm to 37 mm (1.5 inch) diameter in standard lengths of 220 meters.

Industrial Use:

Jute ropes are used in the steel wire rope industry, transportation industry as well as for packing. The most common use of Jute Rope is in the inner core of Steel Wire Cables used for elevators. They also have a variety of home, garden and other general applications.

Design Use:

Coiled Jute Ropes rope are a perfect addition for decorative accents to floral arrangements, table settings, place-mats, frames, lamps, planters and much more. The natural 'golden' color of Jute lends a much desired look for all kinds of nature inspired indoor as well as outdoor design projects. It can be used in its natural golden brown shade or dyed in a wide range of colors and can also be bleached if required.
